About
Willow Willow
was born and raised in Camp Douglas (United States). Her sire moved there
from Australia. Willow's dame is Guusje Germaine du Hovali. She is a
daughter from our Raisa and Baileys. Therefore when Willow came to us we not
only got some entirely new bloodlines for the Netherlands, but also
something out of our 'own' lines.
We are used to call our
cats by their registered name. In Willow's case this was slightly different.
Willow's full name is 'Woodwillows Sheba'. And as every one in the
Netherlands know, 'Sheba' is a cat food brand which uses blue cats in their
advertising. So we did not like the name Sheba. We renamed her Willow, so it
would still be a part of her registered name. She quite likes it apparately
because she already listens to her name and will come when you call for her.
Willow
has beautiful deep orange eyes an is very pale blue in colour.
Health
Willow's
grandparents (Raisa and Baileys) have been tested several times for HCM. They've
also been tested negative for PKD. As far as we know Willow's parents
haven't been tested. In the mean while Willow has been tested herself.
