21 dec 2008 The second show day. Comfortably rolled out of our hotel and were in the show hall on time. And again the show started late. Jarod win 5 more final places (Ullie and Cc both win none). 2nd AB, 4th AB, 1st AB, 2nd AB and 1st SP. We started a riot at the end of the show, because Cc suddenly was kicked out of the 'British Shorthair and derived breeds congress'. This congress was for both, BSH's, BLH, as for Selkirk Rex and Scottish Folds. It was even mentioned on our confirmation letter that Cc was entered for that congress. Suddenly it was only open to BSH's and BLH. It killed the mood completely. We were treated like dunces. When they finally admitted she was in the congress. The final already had finished. We will never show there again.
20 dec 2008 A TICA show in Ciney (Belgium). Het was a very bad organised show, which also started late. It did not kill the fun as Ullie gets into two finals on his first show (10th AB and 4th SP). Not bad for a first timer. Cc doesn't get into any final. But Jarod makes up for it by doing four (3rd AB, 2nd AB, 1st AB and 1st SP).

10 nov 2008 Jayden (Thamon) and Toby (Thierry) have move to The Hague. 
09 nov 2008 NKFV show in Zutphen. Qelvinn wins his second CAC, Quandor his third which makes him a Champion. Jarod gets his second CAPIB and unexpectly also wins BIS male neuter other shorthairs (all breed without the BSH).
02 nov 2008 The second show day in Heinenoord. We were over the moon by the results on saturday, boy were we in for a surprise.... Cc gets into two finales and gets 2nd SP and 5th SP. In the female congress she gets 9th AB. Only two more finales and our girl is a Grand Champion!!! Jarod also exceeds every expectation. He gets 4th AB, 1st AB, 1st AB, 1st AB, 1st SP and 1st SP!!! With only three show days in TICA he already is a Triple Grand Champion Alter!!! He also gets a nice price from the organisation for the Most Succesfull Alter the entire show weekend.
01 nov 2008 The TICA show in Heinenoord. Not a bad day, because Cc gets a 3rd AB. Jarod does better, gets into all finales and wins 1st AB, 2nd AB, 3rd AB, 1st SP and 1st SP.
19 oct 2008 The NPV show in Oud Gastel. Qelvinn won his first CAC from a very nice competitor. Quandor won his second CAC.

This was our first time at a combined traditional and TICA show. Iskander was only entered in the traditional show and wins his last CAPIB, so now also is an International Premior, he also becomes BIS male neuter shorthair. Jarod wins his first CAPIB and gets NBIS. Cc wins her first CACIB. 

Cc also is registered in TICA so we wanted to try a TICA show. Both her and Jarod were entered. Cc wins her BOC and BOD points in all five rings and becomes 5th AB in mrs. Higgins's (USA) ring. She won enough points to become TICA Champion.

Jarod also wins his BOC and BOD points in all five rings. Next to that he also finales in every ring!!!

He gets 4th AB, 2nd AB, 5th AB and in specialty rings 1st SP and 1st SP. He wins a lot of points and now also is a TICA Champion Alter.

10 oct 2008 The T and U babies went to the vet for their first vaccinations and id chip.
28 sep 2008 The Neocatshow in Nijmegen. Jarod wins his last CAP, so he now also is a Premior. We took Quandor for his first meeting with the show bench, he won his first CAC and became BIV. Iskander won his second CAPIB and became NBIS. Qelvinn had a nice competitor and became Exc2.
26 sep 2008 Sandokan (Frodo) moved to Best. Cassie's and Madinka's kittens are growing rapidly.
25 sep 2008 Cassie and Madinka now jointly take care of the two kittens.
24 sep 2008 Today Madinka gave birth to 3 kittens. Two chocolate and white girls and 1 chocolate boy. Sadly also in this litter only one kitten remains (a chocolate and white girl). Her progress can be found at W-litter). Because of the bloodgroup of Madinka (B) we switch the kittens between the mothers.

21 sep 2008 NVVK show in Dordrecht. Iskander gets his first CAPIB and gets NBIS. Cc wins her last CAC and now may call herself a Champion. Rya gets a nice report with an Exc 1. Her dad Jarod wins his second CAP and becomes BIV (Best Selkirk Rex), he also wins BIS Rex neuter.

Cassie gave birth to 3 kittens today (1 black classic tabby curly girl, 1 black tabby spotted curly boy and 1 black tortie classic tabby curly girl). Unfortunately the first girl did not make it.

Sedgewick is moving, he's the first of the S-litter. He is going to live with his uncle Cassius (litter brother to Callista).

24 aug 2008 First show of the new show season. At the dutch Rex society so we only brought Selkirk Rex. Rya won her Exc. 1, Cc her second point for championship and Jarod his first for championship Alter. Jarod also won best of breed of all the non bicolored Selkirk Rex at the show. All three were nominated for Best in Show. Only Jarod won (so he was Best in Show Rex neuter). Sadly he lost Best of Best with 1 to 2 points. What a great show to start with!!!

Qelvinn and Orissa were tested negative for PKD and free of HCM for now.

The S-kittens had their first vaccinations today.
09 aug 2008 Rivil (now named Izzy) moved to her new owner. Bunny just did not have contractions after starting birthing so we took her to the vet. There were five kittens born through c-section. We had to struggle hard to get them breathing. In the end all started breathing and we went home. Unfortunately two babies (a blue and white curly girl and a chocolate and white curly boy) passed away during the next morning. These are things that make breeding really hard and make you lose hope sometimes. The three survivors can be found on U-litter.
08 aug 2008 On day 68th of her pregnancy Raisa gave birth to two boys. She probably tried the start labour during the start ceremony of the Olympics, like she did four years ago. But in the end she was a few hours too early. You can find her boys on their own page: T-litter.
06 aug 2008 Jarod left two parts of him at the vet, he was neutered today.
01 aug 2008 Madinka and Lola had their second HCM test. All was fine.
11 jul 2008  The girls of R-litter got their first shots and id chip today.
04 jul 2008 Today Quandor and Cc had their first HCM test. Both were also tested negative for PKD.
27 jun 2008 Cassie had her third HCM test today. Jarod had his second and Bunny went for the first time (HCM/PKD). All results were good.
19 jun 2008 A mere 24 hours after Chenoa's passing, we welcome her first great grandchildren into the world. See S-litter.
18 jun 2008 Today we unfortunately had to say goodbye to our beloved Chenoa. May she rest in peace.

18 apr 2008 Raisa, Willow and Callista were tested today. It was Raisa's 4th test for HCM, Willow's second. And Callista was tested for HCM and PKD for the first time
13 apr 2008 Callista went away to spent a few days at her lovers house. When we believe she's pregnant, we will let you know.
06 apr 2008 A really nice day at the show. Baileys, Chenoa and Iskander all win their last points for their next title. So they are now a European Premior, an International Premior and a Premior. Chenoa also gets nominated for Best in Show. Cc wins her first CAC. Jarod was tagging along for the Honour Class. He had compitition of not 1 but 4 cats! Two Sphynx (one Eur. Ch. and one Eur. Pr.) and two Selkirk Rex (both also Gr. Eur. Ch.). We never thought Jarod could beat two Sphynxes, but........ Jarod won!!!! And was crowned Best of Honour Class Shorthair. We are so proud!!!

With our hopes up high we travelled to St. Niklaas Belgium. It was going to be an exiting day.

Orissa was up first and won her first CAC from an opponant who was 6 months older.

Jarod won his final point for Great European Champion won a special price and was NBIS.

Chenoa won her second CAPIB and became Best in Show female neuter SH (1).

Iskander earned his ent second CAP and was NBIS. He was up against Baileys (who won his second CAPE) and a blue boy. Baileys eventually won Best in Show male neuter SH (1).

We had a wonderfull day!!!

24 feb 2008 As we were going to a show in France, we travelled there on saturday. And staid over in the same hotel as two years ago. Which is 8 minutes away from the show hall. Baileys won his first CAPE and got nominated for best in show (NBIS). But lost to a Oriental Sh. Jarod won his third point for CAGCE. Very happy with the points we won we travelled back home. What was really great is that we met the breeder who bred Jarod's grandfather and the generations before him.

We took three of our neuters to the NKFV show in Fijnaart.

Baileys won his last point and he now is a Great International Premior.

Chenoa won her first point for CAPIB. And Iskander his first for CAP. He also won BIV.

All three of them were nominated for BIS. Chenoa was up against a very nice tricolor. So off course she didn't win. Baileys and Iskander were up against eachother and the gorgeous Blue and White Tinus owned by Cora Swierts. As Tinus is very much the old type (big size) BSH we did not think we'd win. But Baileys did!!! So he was BIS male neuter BSH!

We went just over the border by Winterswijk to show in Oeding (Germany).

The boys did a fantastic job there!!!

Baileys wins his second CAGPI, becomes 5th in All Breed ringjudging (adults) and BIS male neuter SH.

Jarod gets his second CAGCE, 7th in the AB ringjudging, BIS male SH and wins Best of Best SH!!!

Neocatshow in Utrecht. There were more than 200 British Shorthairs present and 9 Selkirk Rex (7 SH and 2 LH). 

Baileys wins his first CAGPI.

Chenoa gets her last CAP, so she now also is a Premior. Very unexpectately she also win BIS neuter female in the group of Pointed, Tabbies and Shadeds BSH's. Never before she won a BIS, she has been nominated several times before though.

Jarod wins his first CAGCE and is BIV (Best Selkirk Rex)! We are so proud.

Madinka gets her last CACIB and that makes her an International Champion now. She gets called back for the prenominaton, but unfortunately doesn't get nominated for BIS.

Cc gets a good report and her Exc 1. And Qelvinn wins his Exc 1 and by miracle wins BIV with the cream BSH kittens and gets NBIS.
