About Baileys
Baileys is
the first lilac-colored kitten that was born in our cattery. He was supposed to go to a breeder in England, but
because she changed her mind (the lines behind him she already had) we kept him.
The
only two girls Baileys was allowed to mate with in our cattery were Raisa
and Cassie. In 2004 Raisa and Baileys had four wonderfull babies. Baileys and
Cassie had five babies in 2006. Baileys was open for stud services selectively.
Bacause we came to a point where we had four open boys running around our
living room we decided it was time to neuter the eldest. Also we believed
that Baileys produced enough offspring to contribute in both breeds. So he
was neutered on the first of march 2007. He already was a couch potatoe, so
we hope he will stay with us being that way for a very long time.
Health
Baileys'
both parents are tested negative on HCM several times. They're both also
tested negative on PKD. Baileys was tested also on HCM
and PKD. He will be tested again in 2007 and after that every two years.

Shows
In
december 2002 Baileys went to a show for the first time. He won Exc 1 and became Best in Show
within his agegroup for boys (3-6 months). What a surprise! The first time
on stage with one of our cats. In the mean time we've visited lots of shows with Baileys and he now is a Great European Champion!
