About Ambaràn

Ambaràn was born within the cattery (in our old house in Rotterdam). She's one of the first offspring of Cattery du Hovali. Actually, she's the first born girl within Cattery du Hovali. 

Ambaràn carries chocolate gene. She also carries the longhair gene, which was quite a surprise for us, considering there is one Persian six generations back. In type Ambaràn is a nice improvement on her mother. She is more cobbier in build and her coat is better colored through. Unfortunately her ears are a bit too straight on her head.

Her hobbies are bringing back paper balls, sleeping, eating, eating and eating. Did we mention already that eating is one of her hobbies? Furthermore she is very inquisitive and very sweet, which she passes on to her kittens.

Health

Ambaràn's both parents have been tested negative for PKD. Concerning HCM: her mother has been tested 5 times already for HCM and her grandfather (Bolke) was tested on the ages 7 and 10. Unfortunately Ambaràn's sire was not tested for (but he was tested negative for PKD) and her grandfather for her sire's side probably has passed away because off HCM. Her grandmother from sire's side has been tested for HCM/PKD. You can find Ambaràn's testresults below. As she's retired she will be tested every two years.
